If you’re traveling with your furry, four-legged friend, it's important to bring some treats along! Giving them delicious, wholesome treats is a way to express your love and approval of them, and they'll love you right back for it! Unfortunately, many store-bought dog treats are filled with artificial ingredients and preservatives that just aren't good for them. The good news is that there are plenty of recipes for homemade dog treats that are easy and require few ingredients to make. Here's one of our favorites that we'd like to share. Give this recipe a try and watch as your pooch thanks you with some wet, sloppy kisses!

1 C. skim milk
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375° F.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder until combined.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, add the peanut butter and skim milk, whisking until they're completely combined and smooth.
Step 4: Add the dry mixture to the peanut butter mixture and stir until well blended.
Step 5: Lightly flour a countertop, and roll the dough out with a rolling pin, until you get a uniformed ¼” thickness.
Step 6: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 7: Using cookie cutters, cut shapes from the dough and place them on the lined baking sheet.
Step 8: Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack until they’re completely cooled.
